K-12 Program

Grades K to 12
Year-Round OPEN Enrollment
Our distance learning school is a full-time or part-time program which provides all the benefits and privileges of being in a private school while you study at home. Parents call it the ‘hassle free’ program. From start to finish Zion is here to support you! Parents who want structure, guidance, accountability, and full support of a school prefer Zion Academy for this reason.
Upon enrollment your child will be academically diagnosed. We will customize the assignment and develop a scheduled lesson plan to ensure your child stays on-track throughout the school year. You no longer need to worry about grading tests, obtaining teacher credentials, creating a lesson plan, preparing curriculum, or choosing proper academic levels. Individualized learning is emphasized. All materials are provided for your child to excel in their academic career.
As a full-time student a minimum of 4 courses are required. We suggest the following >
  • 4 courses for the below average student
  • 5 courses for the average student
  • 6 courses for the above average or college preparatory student
The daily assignment generally takes 2-3 hours to complete; an upper level student may need more time, still leaving plenty of time for extracurricular activities.
A high school student follows a General or College Preparatory graduation plan structured by the school administrator. The self-instructional style of the curriculum even allows students to advance toward an early graduation.
Monthly payment plans available.

Students enrolled in the School Program consider ZAA their primary school and should not be enrolled in another public, private, or homeschool program. Some states consider this type of school program a satellite school, cover school, or umbrella school and it is comparable to a homebound program of a public school. It may not be necessary to declare your intent to homeschool with your local school district. Some states view any form of distance learning as “homeschooling,” while other states recognize accredited distance education institutions, such as Zion Academy of America, as private schools. It is the responsibility of the parent to be familiar with the homeschool law of their home state.
