When applying for The Freedom P.A.C. program, it is necessary for you to register with your local school district for homeschool compliance. To qualify for The Freedom P.A.C. Program, it is necessary to supply ZAA with homeschool approval documentation from your local school district. If you find the homeschool law of your state too burdensome, then THE ACADEMY program is a better option for you.*
The Freedom P.A.C. is Zion Academy of America’s K-8 distance learning home school program offering a more affordable and flexible option for families needing the assistance of our private school administration team. Parents who know their children need more time to complete assignments, may find this program to be a better option.
The Freedom P.A.C. program offers a flexible format with suggested guidelines for due dates of assignments to help you keep the student on track in Grades K-8. The student may advance throughout the school year at his/her own pace with the only enforced assignment deadline being at the end of the school year in order to issue an accurate, official Report Card. Each year, the student will be issued up to 4 core courses through Grade 8. As a homeschool student in The Freedom P.A.C. program, the student will be issued grade-level curriculum. However, if you feel your child is not ready for grade level curriculum, we will be happy to issue one grade level lower.
The school year for The Freedom P.A.C. program runs from September through May as designated on the Academic Calendar. Summer Sessions of June and July can be used to complete previous assignments or additional courses. A student may enroll as late as March for the school year already in session.

* The Freedom P.A.C. program is for families who have been given official approval from their local school districts to homeschool their children. To qualify for this program, submit a copy of your child’s last Report Card and a copy of your homeschool approval documentation.
