parental supervision
-  three manageable sections per workbook
-  step-by-step instructions, examples, reading materials, and questions

-  content reviews and practice tests to reinforce the concepts
-  score keys (answer books) for students to check their daily work to ensure mastery of
concepts before progressing
-  a numbering system on the workbooks that does not reveal grade level, allowing us to
customize an assignment for a student working at various grade levels

build self-esteem and teach godly character traits such as honesty, respect,
honoring parents, etc.
-  scripture memory activities
-  final exams for each workbook which are graded by ZAA

Grades K-8 offer up to five core courses in Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and Word Building (Spelling). Additional Enrichment Courses are also available for Grades 2-8. Students in Grades 9-12 pursue one of three courses of study for an accredited diploma covering a wide variety of high school core and elective courses. Generally, each grade level requires the completion of 12 PACES per subject over the course of one full school year. For example, Science for 4th grade requires 12 PACES and Math for 4th grade requires 12 PACES.

In addition to the curriculum workbooks, Zion Academy of America provides assignment plans, a ZAA Handbook, and academic instructions for parents from private school professionals.
